Food industry veteran gets honours degree in business from SUSS

Article featured SP alumna Jean Ang, who recently graduated from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) with a bachelor's degree with honours in business. Jean, who is in her early 50s, shared that she joined Chop Hup Chong Food Industries – known for its barbecued meat brand Bee Cheng Hiang – in 1992 as a management trainee, shortly after she graduated from SP with a diploma in chemical process technology and a major in food science. Today, she is the group general manager and leads about 1,200 people and oversees 100 Bee Cheng Hiang stores in China.
