Guided tours of the Raffles Lighthouse launched

From February 2022, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) will be conducting bi-monthly guided tours to Raffles Lighthouse. This is part of MPA’s outreach efforts to cultivate Singaporean’s interest in Singapore’s history and heritage as an international maritime hub. The guided tours was officially launched by Minister for Transport & Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations S Iswaran. SP Diploma in Nautical Studies student Lu Xiuying, who was one of 14 students that participated in the guided tour, said that the tour was enriching and she was more convinced that she had chosen the right career path.
