Having the opportunity to create motivates him to switch courses

SP’s Diploma in Experience & Production Design student Danial Haziq bin Zulklifli shared how the desire to create products and designs saw him switch courses after completing one year in the perfumery & cosmetic science course. While he had a passion for Chemistry, Danial realised that he wanted to create not just fragrances, but also the design and experience of a product. After speaking with counsellors and lecturers, he decided to switch his course, despite the objections of his parents. Even though he took four years to complete a diploma, Danial has no regrets and believes that design is his passion. After designing various products including a cup-holder and finding confidence in design, his parents have supported his decision to switch course. Danial also shared that there will be growing demand for User Interface and User Experience designers in the coming years.
