HDB opens solar panel install tender at 1,290 blocks of flats, 99 government sites

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) launched a tender on Friday (25 February) to install solar panels in 1,290 HDB blocks as well as 99 government sites. With a solar capacity of 75 megawats (MWp), the SolarNova tender will meet the demand for HDB flats at the Bishan-Toa Payoh town council, Tanjong Pagar and Jurong-Clementi. The government sites participating in the tender includes 37 places in the SP campus.
