High-flying students overcome special needs to win scholarships

SP’s Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering graduate Lionel Lee, was featured as one of four recipients of the Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities. The scholarship recognises outstanding students with special needs. Article also mentioned that Lionel wanted to help Singapore by doing national service even though he could be exempted, due to his Asperger’s Syndrome. He recently completed his national service and is currently studying mathematical sciences at the Nanyang Technological University.
