Article featured Muhamad Syahiran Jamal, who is currently a second year student of SP’s Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During his ITE days, he had the opportunity to join a one-month attachment programme with SP Group. There, he learned how electricity was channelled to different types of electrical cables and this spurred his interest in electrical engineering. Syahiran was one of four students who were recently awarded the Energy Industry Scholarship (EIS), which is jointly funded by the government and various power sector companies.
