Inspirational mother helps fellow mothers with children who have learning disabilities

Towards the end of 2022, Chen Ling Yan (47 years old) gave up her career of 24 years as a technology consultant to join a completely new industry in education, using her experience with her son to curate teaching materials for children with learning disabilities and their parents. She is now a part-time lecturer at SP, and also a life coach. She shared that she joined the education and training industry hoping to help children with learning disabilities, and received the full support of her family. On Saturday, she received the Singapore 40-Over-40.Inspiring Women 2023.
