Interest in playing computers sparked a career in the field of extended reality technology

The fun of playing computer games coupled with the desire to create games prompted Ikhwan Zainal to venture into the field of technology, and specifically, virtual reality (VR) and extended reality (XR). Ikhwan received his early education at Telok Kurau Secondary School before continuing his studies at SP. During his National Service (NS) with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), he used his expertise to produce training tools used by firefighters. Despite being busy developing companies and products, he also teaches as an adjunct lecturer at SP.
