Interview with FIRC’s Senior Nutritionist Carolyn Stephen

Ethiroli covered a story on a plant-based diet. Carolyn Stephen, Senior Nutritionist at Singapore Polytechnic compared plant-based meat and chicken. She said, plant-based meat contains various protein. It is difficult to bring the texture in plant-based meat similar to the texture in real chicken. For non-vegetarians, plant-based meat will be a supplement. She added that their Food, Innovation and Resource Centre is doing research for the past four years on plant-based products.
