Lecturer’s first directed film, “Tiong Bahru Club” wins recognition at the Busan Film Festival

Article featured SP lecturer, Tan Bee Thiam. His first directed film, Tiong Bahru Club was screened at the 25th Busan International Film Festival and received many good comments. The film was also picked up by Taiwan’s Golden Horse awards and will be screened during the event. Bee Thiam shared that this was a great honour and he tries to make use of his non-teaching hours to produce films. Some of his other film productions include “Star Demon” and “Red Dragonfly”.
