Ministry of Home Affairs’ Scholar aspires to become a policeman

Article featured SP Diploma in Mechanical Engineering graduate, Li Xunliang and his career in the police force. Xunliang was inspired by an incident between his brother, who is also a policeman, and an ex-convict. He saw how the ex-convict went up to greet his brother at a coffeeshop and thanked him for his care during his time in prison. Since then, Xunliang was inspired to follow in his brother’s footsteps and successfully joined the police force after graduating from SP. After four years in his career, Xunliang has been awarded the Ministry of Home Affairs Scholarship and will be pursuing a Degree in Political Science in National University of Singapore.
