New book celebrates lives of young Malay, Muslim women

Article featured SP alumni Azurah Khalid who is one of 20 successful Muslim women honored in a commemorative book celebrating International Women’s Day. Azurah went on to represent Singapore as a member of the national women's rugby team and a Malay martial arts competitor after graduating from her diploma in civil engineering. She also founded The Wilder Café, a café that prides itself in not providing plastic straws and promoting the philosophy of reducing food waste six years ago.
