Palm reading vending machines to enter the Singaporean market next year

Article featured the SP VendTech 2018, a vending machine trade show organised by SP's Diploma in Business Administration students to allow businesses the opportunity to gain insights on the next generation technologies available. One of the technologies showcased was the “Take Go” technology developed by Deep Blue Technology (Shanghai), which allows consumers to pay just by scanning a QR code and registering their palm print. Once this is done, consumers just have to enter the last four digits of their mobile number and scan their palm to pay for subsequent purchases. (Lianhe Wanbao, p8)
