Police defend crime prevention posters after Aware takes issue with price tag design

17 Nov 2019

The Association of Women for Action and Research (Aware) had criticised two posters by the Singapore Police Force (SPF), which were designed in partnership with students from SP’s Media, Arts and Design School. The SPF said in a statement that Aware misunderstood the purpose of the posters, which are part of a series featuring other crimes such as theft and rioting. An SP spokesperson explained about the design concept for the posters and shared that it was eventually selected by the SPF for its latest campaign. Similar story was reported in all SPH newspapers and Mediacorp platforms.
