Scam me not

29 Jan 2022

The number of scams reported in Singapore has risen sharply over the years. Mr Amos Tan, assistant director of SP's School of Business, said the pandemic has driven many people to shop online, and e-commerce platforms are trying to retain customers with frequent promotions. He added that this shift in lifestyles has provided ample opportunities for scammers and so e-commerce scams are not only expected to rise but also more variants will emerge.
