Singapore gains 700 million from summit

Article highlighted the recent Trump-Kim summit, which analyst says has helped Singapore gain more than $700 million in tourism, retail and media exposure. Mr Michael Chiam, senior tourism lecturer at NP, shared that Singapore can also expect at least $7.2 million from the summit based on tourism receipts. However, Mr Lucas Tok, retail and marketing lecturer at SP, said this short-term gain might be counterbalanced by visitors who stayed away. Lucas also opined on the benefits Singapore would gain further down the road.
