Singapore is the first country in the world to approve sale of lab grown meat

Article featured food technology start-up, Eat Just, which have been given the approval by Singapore authorities to sell lab-grown meat or cultured chicken in Singapore. The ingredients to make cultured chicken includes chicken cells, mung bean protein and bread crumbs. The process to make cultured chicken takes up to a few weeks and part of it is supported by the facilities at SP’s Food Innovation & Resource Centre. Similar story reported on Berita Mediacorp.
