Singapore Polytechnic signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Waste Management and Recycling Association of Singapore (WMRAS)

Article featured the MOU signing between SP and WMRAS. This is a three-year MOU that aims to benefit about 100 companies each year with the launch of a two-day Chemical and Workplace Safety Programme to support workers’ safety and health. Together with WMRAS, SP’s Advanced Materials Technology Center and the School of Chemical and Life Sciences will jointly design the curriculum for the safety programme.  Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for the Environment and Water Resources witnessed the signing ceremony and shared that a projected 30,000 workers will benefit from higher value-added jobs in the cleaning and waste management industry.
