SP graduate pays close attention to new media trends and uses creativity to convey news

Article featured SP Diploma in Creative Writing for Television & New Media graduate and Tan Kay Yong Gold Medal recipient Colin Low, who has a passion for current affairs and enjoys telling stories through visual mediums. During his studies, he learnt invaluable writing, filming and editing techniques and was able to apply these during his internship with Mediacorp’s 8world news channel team. Before the internship, Colin actively read reports in Chinese media for several months and even set his mobile phone language to Chinese in order to brush up his level of Chinese. After graduation, Colin plans to further his study at university and aspires to become a civil servant to contribute back to society.
