Temasek Foundation-Union Scholarships increases rewards to express gratitude to recipients’ families

SP Diploma in Business Administration student Mikki Chan uses fruits with defects in appearance to make nougat to reduce food waste. She has excellent results, ranking among the top 10 in class every year, and has now received a scholarship from the Temasek Foundation. She decided to start a business with four friends in her second year turning unsightly fruits into delicious snacks and launching a product without artificial sweeteners, because she was concerned about environmental issues and observed that sustainable development was the future trend.
