Traditional recipe for satay with no MSG

19 Mar 2020

Article featured the collaboration between local Satay business, Jumain Sataysfaction and SP to roll out plant-based satay products. One of the products is a type of satay with mushroom as its main ingredient. The product contains no colouring, preservatives and monosodium glutamate (MSG). This product is the first of its kind in Singapore and fairly different from the usual mock meat that vegetarians consume. Moving forward, the owner of Jumain Sataysfaction, Samsiah Suliman, hopes to create more plant-based products to promote healthier diet and lifestyle habits for Singaporeans. (Lianhe Zaobao, p25)
