Congratulations! We are excited to have you join us

Freshman Orientation Programme (FOP) is a compulsory programme and the most important event for new students. In the space of a week before the start of the academic year, you will be oriented on the use of all the important SP e-services and enjoy a tour of your school facilities during your orientation programme in SP. You will also meet your new classmates and personal tutors so you do not feel so alone on your first day of school!

International Students Freshman Orientation Programme (ISFOP) 2026 

Welcome International Students!

Kickstart your SP journey with ISFOP 2026, a dedicated orientation programme designed to help you transition smoothly into student life at Singapore Polytechnic.

The programme includes:

  • Important information on the Tuition Grant
  • Sharing sessions by seniors on their experiences
  • Interactive games and activities to connect with fellow students

Event Details:

  • Date: 13 April 2026
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Report at 8:45 AM)
  • Venue: Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre

SP Cares

SP Cares: Make a Real Connection

Description: Orientation at SP isn't just about fun, it's about making a difference! SP Cares is your first chance to bond with your new classmates while giving back to the community. You’ll head out to NTUC Health Active Ageing centres, Senior Day Care centres and Nursing Homes across Singapore to engage with seniors. Through ice-breakers and interactive games, bring them joy and kickstart your SP journey with purpose.

  • PFP Special Project: Our PFP cohort will lead a meaningful campus initiative, by assembling food packs for the seniors at all participating centres.
  • When: 14 – 17 April 2026.
  • What to Expect: Team-based volunteering, heartwarming interactions, and opportunities for intergenerational conversations and understanding
CCA Carnival

CCA Carnival 2026: Discover Your Passion

Description: Ready to dive into student life? The CCA Carnival is back and bigger than ever! With 89 clubs showcasing everything from competitive sports to performing arts and leadership groups, there is a place for everyone.

  • AI-Powered Discovery: Not sure where to start? Look out for our CCA Ambassadors roaming with the QR Code Profiling Quiz. This AI-driven personality quiz will match you with the perfect CCA cluster, making it easy to find your tribe without the overwhelm.
  • Sustainable & Tech-Forward: Check out our new sustainable cardboard booths designed with FabLab—part of our commitment to a greener SP.
  • When: 16 April (11 AM – 6 PM) & 17 April (11 AM – 8:30 PM).
  • Where: T16 Heartbeat

 

SP Jumba Hunt

SP Jumba Hunt: The Ultimate Campus Scavenger Hunt!

Description: Explore the sprawling SP campus like never before with the Jumba Hunt! This gamified scavenger hunt will take your team across 20 iconic locations, from the historic Moberly building to the modern Heartbeat and FabLab.

  • How to Play: Gather a team of 5 and use the official app to solve riddles and complete photo challenges. You’ll learn "Fun Facts" about your new home while earning points for your school.
  • Challenge Accepted: Answers can only be submitted when you are within a 10m radius of the location, so get ready to move!
  • When: 13 April – 17 April (5PM).

School Championship

School Championship: Win for your School!

Description: Every action you take during FOP 2026 counts! The School Championship is the ultimate competition to see which school brings the biggest energy and spirit. It isn't just about winning games; it’s about how well you engage, volunteer, and explore together.

The Winning Formula:

  • 30% SP Cares: Your participation in community service.
  • 30% CCA Carnival: How much you engage with student life.
  • 40% SP Jumba Hunt: Your team’s performance and completion rate.

The winning school will be crowned at the CCA Carnival on Friday night. Rep your school colours, give it your all, and let’s see who takes home the trophy!
