Data Analytics is the process of deriving insights from data in order to make better decisions.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) helps to rapidly automate repetitive or time-critical tasks. Some use cases include process automation, data acquisition and testing of web apps.

Representing these systems by mathematical models allows optimization algorithms to find optimal solutions that maximize revenue, minimize costs, or improve efficiency.

Natural language processing (NLP) makes it possible for machines to summarize and visualize patterns within text, cluster documents according to topics, and extract and prioritize recurring customer concerns found in text data.

Computer visionallows machines to accurately identify and classify objects using digital images from cameras, videos and advanced algorithm for situation analysis and early danger detection to alert users of various events scenario.

AI Learning Journey

In partnership with AI Singapore, Data Science and Analytics Centre (DSAC) designed the AI Learning Journey (AILJ) to empower companies in their data-driven digital transformation through AI and Analytics adoption. Anchoring on AI Singapore's AI Readiness Index, the AILJ showcases a range of AI and Analytics use cases that the team has developed for the industry. These real-world examples cater to companies at different levels of AI readiness. Through this initiative, DSAC aims to inspire companies to discover the potential of AI and Analytics in their digital transformation journey.

The Data Integrated System (called System), with integration of data from the factory floor to the business unit, will provide an advance level of business and operational insights for staff and management team to make strategic and tactical business decisions that are backed by data.

AI for Workplace Safety System

The AI for Workplace Safety System leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CCTV infrastructure to detect Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) in various industry workplaces, captures PPE non-compliant instances in real-time, and displays alert message via a central dashboard.

IoT Sensors
For Smarter Facility Management

Companies can leverage Internet of Things (IoT) technology to expand their digital capabilities. Embedding IoT sensors into infrastructures and utilities can give companies’ assets the ability to sense and even response to problems as they develop. This in turn will help companies better direct maintenance and reduce downtime to provide greater operational efficiency. IoT sensors could be appropriately introduced to monitor the structure of an asset as well as services that run through it such as air, water, and electricity.

Stackable Specialist Diploma in Data Science

We currently offer four stackable Specialist diplomas in Data Science that are designed to first equip students with two common modules, fundamental of statistics and programming skills to earn a Certificate of Fundamentals of Data Science. Then students can advance to take two modules to get another certificate to earn their first Specialist Diploma in Data Science in a particular specialisation such as 1) Artificial Intelligence, 2) Data Analytics, 3) Predictive Analytics or 4) Visual and Language Analytics.

Students can further stack up two more modules for each of the other three specialisations to earn themselves additional Specialist Diplomas in Data Science.
