What You Will Learn

This micro-credential equips participants with Design Thinking foundational knowledge and skills.

They will be introduced to applying the concept of empathy and show how it underpins user-centric Human Resource (HR).

Doing projects with tools, like structured observations and deep user interviews for conducting ethnographic research is one example and eventually prepare data for insights generation, on identified organisational issues.

By end of this course, participants will be able to:
  1. Identify HR challenges and opportunities addressed using Design Thinking.
  2. Identify potential stakeholders to gather data from.
  3. Apply user empathy concepts to better understand employee needs, motivations, and pain points.
  4. Propose tools and techniques for gathering data.
  5. Prepare data for HR insights generation.
