Course Objective
This course provides knowledge of Intermediate to Advanced operational skills in Ship Navigation and Ship Operation, as well as Maritime Management knowledge to participants, equipping them with holistic skillsets; essential across the Maritime industry.

Offered by the Singapore Maritime Academy of Singapore Polytechnic, to Junior Officers with experience as Nautical Officers in the Maritime industry, wishing to have the opportunity deepening their skills and stay relevant.
We also recommend that students undertake the following additional courses whilst pursuing their studies:
- Advanced Training for service on ships subject to the IGF Code (For obtaining the Advanced IGF Certificate of Proficiency (COP) issued by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore [MPA])
- Advanced Training For Handling of Methanol As Fuel For Maritime Personnel (For personnel with immediate responsibility for the care and use of methanol fuels and methanol fuel systems on Singapore Registered Ships)
