What You Will Learn
This course equips participants with essential knowledge and skills in the maritime sector, who are responsible for managing and utilizing fuel and fuel systems on ships powered by methanol.
Participants will have the opportunity to apply their skills in executing firefighting procedures and responding to emergency situations aboard methanol-fuelled ships. They will also gain a comprehensive understanding of methanol's properties, environmental impacts of a spill, and the relevant safety regulations outlined in the International Maritime Organization (IMO) interim guidelines.
