Course Objective
- Enable participants to apply knowledge in a step-by-step process, required for handling data visualization projects.
- Equips participants with necessary skills in Microsoft Excel for data wrangling, data cleaning, transformation and conditioning.
- Facilitates participants to integrate data using appropriate data visualisation tools e.g. Microsoft Power BI and build a representative dashboard to support process monitoring and decision making.
- Enables participants to use appropriate visuals required for their project.
More Information
Unlike the usual short courses where participants learn skills and concepts from the course, the proposed project-focused course seeks to offer project-solution training complemented with classroom training in Visual analytics using Power BI coupled with Data Wrangling. Participants will be guided to establish a suitably scoped data visualisation project and will be guided on undertaking solution steps, in the project. The training will provide step by step guide on applying the Microsoft Power BI & Excel skills and concepts to realise successful visualization of the data studied.
