What You Will Learn

This course refreshes participants' knowledge to perform management-level duties on board merchant ships, as per Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping (STCW) Table A-II/2. It provides a refresher and up-to-date knowledge to them for revalidating their Class 2/Class 1 Certificate of Competency (CoC).

They will learn being Deck Officers making routine and critical decisions, and as well as commanding vessels according to national and international rules and regulations. Participants will also lead with their companies’ policies and procedures.

By end of this course, participants will be able to
  1. Make critical decisions in accordance with national and international rules and regulations.
  2. Demonstrate higher management skills according to policies and procedures.
