What You Will Learn

This course provides the participant with a basic knowledge of Environment Impact Assessment, outline the potential environmental impacts for any development, and apply the assessment to their design and planning in their workplace. The participant will gain knowledge of environmental assessment procedures and practice, and an introduction to the rapidly growing environmental management field.

By end of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Explain the Basic Concepts About Environment Impact Assessment.
2. Apply the Principle of Environment Impact Assessment (Physical, Chemical, Biological, Environmental, Trans-boundary impacts and Before, during, and after construction of the proposed development.).
3. Conduct Measurement of Environment Impact Assessment (Land, Air, and Sea Environment).
4. Apply Good Practices in Environment Impact Assessment.
5. Apply Methods of Assessment and Monitoring.
6. Use of Computerised Software Modelling in the Environment Impact Assessment.
