What You Will Learn

This interactive course is designed to help early childhood educators create calm, engaging, and responsive classroom environments. Grounded in child development and evidence-based strategies, it transcends traditional disciplines, focusing on proactive management, emotional connection, and positive guidance.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Describe Preschoolers' key developmental milestones and typical behavioural characteristics.
Explain how environmental factors, routines, and transitions influence pre-schoolers.
Identify common behaviour challenges and appropriate management strategies.
Analyse effectiveness of different classroom management approaches, using case studies and real-world examples.
Develop an individualised classroom management toolkit incorporating visual supports, clear expectations, and conflict resolution techniques.
Reflect on personal practices and formulate strategies for consistent, empathetic responses to challenging behaviours.
