What You Will Learn

This course provides evidence-based nutritional and physical activity guidelines for various age groups, so participants can make optimal dietary and exercise decisions for themselves and others. They will also be instructed how to integrate various fitness components into their exercise programmes, as well as discusses dietary and exercise adaptations for people with various medical and health conditions.

More Information

From 1 June 2026, everyone registered in the National Registry of Exercise Professionals (NREP) must hold Basic Exercise Science (BES) certification or an equivalent qualification to maintain an active membership. 

Endorsed by Sport Singapore (SportSG) as a BES-equivalent course, this programme enables you to meet NREP requirements while enhancing existing knowledge in health and fitness science.
