Course Objective

This course provides participants with the skills needed to develop a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) blueprint. During the course, participants will develop, submit, and present an OJT blueprint.

This course aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills needed to design a structured OJT blueprint for the workplace. Participants will be able to identify the scope of work, concepts to properly design assessment criteria and processes to impart skills via workplace training, key success factors in developing a good blueprint, development of a comprehensive OJT checklist, and how to review and evaluate the effectiveness of OJT in an organisation.

Participants will be able to apply Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) tool (e.g. Open AI ChatGPT) to streamline and enhance the development of OJT task analysis.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe what is a workplace learning blueprint and its importance.
  2. Design and develop an on-the-job training blueprint to facilitate workplace learning.
  3. Prepare and conduct a workplace learning programme

More Information

This course provides participants with the skills needed to develop a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) blueprint.  During the course, participants will develop, submit, and present an OJT blueprint. In addition to the existing course content, participants will explore Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) to revolutionise their approach to developing OJT task analysis.

Credit Exemptions to WSQ ACLP 2.0 and WLF

Participants who complete all the four (4) workplace learning courses will be eligible to apply for credit exemptions towards the following certifications by the Institute of Adult Learning Singapore (IAL):

  • WSQ Workplace Learning Facilitator (WLF)

WLF ExemptionsThis programme is approved for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours submission under the Training and Adult Educator Professional Pathway (TAEPP), administered by the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL). Upon successful completion, you may submit 14 CPD hours for their National Adult Educator (NAE) Registry renewal, subject to prevailing TAEPP requirements.
