A senior and a youth receiving gold medals at ITE Graduation Ceremony

Lianhe Zaobao, 13 Jun 2015 - ITE held its graduation ceremony on Friday for 630 graduates who performed well in their studies. Two outstanding graduates were featured in the article. SP’s Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering student, Ray Tan Guan Rui, was the recipient of Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal at the graduation ceremony. He represented Singapore in Youth Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Conference and won Halogen Foundation’s National Young Leader Award. At the ceremony, he delivered a speech on behalf of the ITE graduates, thanking the school and his teachers. Another graduate, 61-year old Mr Goh Miah Meng, who received the Singapore Labour Foundation gold medal was mentioned as a holder of three certificates from SP, NP and TP.
