Business brains from S’pore universities

The Business Times, 14 October 2013 - CEOs from various businesses shared their views on how local universities has contributed to Singapore’s business sector growth over the years and what more universities can do to boost local business and entrepreneurship. Janet Ang, MD of IBM Singapore noted that IBM has a long tradition of collaborating with academia. In Singapore, IBM has partnered with NTU, NUS, SMU, Institute of Systems Science, NYP, NP, SP and TP in offering courses or degree programme in Service Science, Management, and Engineering. ( Note: In SP’s case, IBM has partnered with SP and SMRT to launch Diploma in Engineering Systems in 2012.)
