Former school drop out is now ITE model student

Berita Harian, 31 May 2014 - SP Diploma in Hotel and Leisure Facilities Management and former ITE student Muhammad Asyraf Chumino, defied all odds to be awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Model Student Award. As the eldest son, Asyraf dropped out of school to start working in order to support his family. Eventually, he enrolled in Northlight School and successfully entered ITE after completing his studies. He subsequently obtained a GPA of 3.9 in ITE for his course.
