New framework maps career paths in energy sector

The Straits Times, 13 Jun 2015 - The Energy Market Authority has launched the new National Energy Competency Framework, which outlines the career progression pathways for 26 groups of electricity and gas jobs. The framework will guide firms in coming up with human resource policies to attract, retain and develop staff in the sector. Institutions of higher learning and training providers can also use the framework to align their curricula to train mid-career professionals or students. Article also mentioned that SP and NP will be rolling out such courses this October and next October respectively. NP is the SkillsFuture coordination for the power sector.
