New grad? Snap a selfie, dance, wave a lightsaber

The Straits Times, 21 July 2014 - Article mentions how the recent graduation ceremonies in the unis and polys have become more fun and memorable. Light-hearted photos of SP graduates handling a dove, waving a lightsaber or taking a selfie were featured in the article. The graduates come from courses ranging from biomedical science, applied drama with psychology and visual effects and motion graphics. A TP graduate also opined on how the audience loved his K-pop dance on stage while the director of TP’s School of Design mentioned  how selfies and other fun acts livens up the mood of the graduation ceremony while ensuring that its importance is not taken away.
