The Straits Times, 11 Jul 2014 - More than 1,000 poly diploma holders have applied for 200 places in the Singapore Institute of Technology(SIT)’s three degree programmes. Singapore’s fifth public university also received a record of 6,000 applications for the 1,500 places for its 28 courses with overseas university partners. SP’s Diploma in Accountancy graduate Ms Nathira Ahamed Saif who will be taking up accountancy at SIT shared that the work and study internship appealed to her as she will have an edge in the job market after graduation.
