Staff crunch? Businesses turn to tech

GV has introduced a QR code for customers who book tickets online or through a mobile app. The code allows customers to enter the cinema by scanning the QR code thus bypassing the queue to collect their tickets. Ms Sarah Lim, a senior retail lecturer from SP Business School opined on how businesses can move towards self-service to ease manpower crunch and to empower customers to make decisions in their own time.
