Studying harder to overcome rejection

Berita Harian, 31 Aug 2014 - Article profiled some of the 35 outstanding Malay university students mentioned by PM Lee during his National Day Rally. SP’s Diploma in Media and Communication graduate, Mr Azahar Zainuddin, shared how he obtained his bachelor of science (service management) from the SIT-University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), with cum laude (United States system similar distinction). Azahar was motivated to study even harder for his degree as he was rejected by all the local unis except SIT.
