They seek to give hope

The New Paper, 9 June 2014 - SP Diploma in Aeronautical engineering graduate Divesh Singaraju opined in this article about his diagnosis with cancer, and how he made use of his experience to set up Youth Comm in 2010, to help fellow youths who are suffering from cancer. Divesh was diagnosed with cancer of lymph nodes when he was 10, and suffered a relapse at 17. The relapse caused him to delay his entry to SP as he fought the cancer. His delay, however, did not affect his studies and he won the Lee Kuan Yew award for being a top graduate. He is exempted from National Service, and will be pursuing further studies in NUS.
