Underachiever now a top cadet

The New Paper, 6 June 2014 - SP Certificate of Competency (Special Limits) programme graduate Kuganesan Vijaykumar opined about his decision to take up the course to fulfill his childhood dream to have a cereer at sea, despite having a job at SMRT as a train officer. The outstanding graduate from the course had to overcome seasickness when out at sea for three to four months, and has since found his new job being a seafearing officer stimulating and refreshing.
