Fixed for a century: Large floating raft ''Millennium Bugs'' compete on the river

SP hosted the 12th Singapore River Raft Race on 23 January 2000, in conjunction with the Y2K. These "millennium bugs" were competition rafts carefully designed by the contestants. The raft race that year attracted hundreds of teams, including those from polytechnics and ITEs.
