Me & My Money: Entrepreneur’s bespoke jewellery business shines in her portfolio

Ms Wihono, 39, who is the founder and creative director of CW Jewels, shared that her desire to create bespoke pieces, which started from a young age, grew as she studied mechanical engineering at SP and then spent four years overseas at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She says: “As I studied mechanical engineering, I realised that creativity and technicality can be merged into something fun... In the four years with GIA, I also marvelled at how natural coloured stones are formed, and their origins. Ms Wihono uses her family’s Indonesia manufacturing facility to produce CW Jewels’ fine jewellery, which she designs in Singapore with the help of 3D tools such as visualisation software.
