Poly students win gold in second stage of WorldSkills Competition

The second phase of this year’s World Skills Singapore was held from 27 to 30 September. A total of 149 students from the ITEs and the five polytechnics competed in 17 skills projects, including aircraft maintenance, information technology network system management and mobile application development. NYP student Sun Jingxuan, differentiated himself from other contestants in the second round of the information technology network category, and is expected to represent Singapore in the competition that will be held later in France. The gold medal winner of the CNC Milling category is SP Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering student Shanice Wong Yi Tung.
