SkillsFuture Work-Study Scheme offers new programmes, widens reach

The IHLs, supported by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), will introduce nine new SkillsFuture Work-Study Programmes from October 2023. This was announced by Minister of State for Education and Manpower, Ms Gan Siow Huang, at the SkillsFuture Work-Study Fair on 11 August. An MoU was signed between NCS, NP, RP and SP, to launch two new SkillsFuture Work-Study Programmes in the Infocomm Technology (ICT) sector. NP will be responsible for the SkillsFuture Work-Study Certificate leading to Part-Time Diploma in Full Stack Development; and RP and SP will be responsible for the SkillsFuture WorkStudy Certificate leading to Part-Time Diploma in Software Engineering. In addition, SP will roll out three new SkillsFuture Work-Study Programmes: SkillsFuture Work-Study Certificate leading to a Part-time Diploma in Business Practice (Business Management), SkillsFuture Work-Study Post-Diploma (Advanced Diploma in Applied Science and Engineering [Microelectronics and Materials]) and SkillsFuture Work-Study Post-Diploma (Specialist Diploma in Full Stack Web Development). TP will also roll out four new SkillsFuture Work-Study Programmes.
