SP holds first-ever Everyone Matters event to raise students’ understanding of people with special needs

SP held its first “Everyone Matters” event to enhance students’ understanding of people with special needs. The event included eight exhibition booths by community partners, such as the Singapore Association Of The Visually Handicapped and the Dyslexia Association of Singapore, as well as three Amazing Races, allowing teachers and students to complete a series of games and challenges to understand the difficulties faced by students with special needs. SP counsellor Gabrielle Dai said the event was planned by four students, a teacher and three polytechnic staff members since November last year. Similar news reported in Capital 95.8.
