The visual effects industry faces global challenges as Lucasfilm ends operations in SG

Lucasfilm’s Singapore studio is the latest casualty of numerous challenges that have plagued the visual effects (VFX) industry for years. SP’s School of Media, Arts & Design manager and course chair, Mr Lynus Hee, said the industry is labour-intensive and requires teams with specialised skill sets.
