Course Objective
In collaboration with DBS Bank, this course is designed for local Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME), offering practical skills and strategic insights to effectively manage Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks, as well as build long-term business resilience.
You will gain hands-on experience using the DBS Sustainability Accelerator Tool to chart your business’s unique Sustainability journey. This tool provides a tailored Sustainability Readiness Report, offering a clear analysis of your current strengths and areas for improvement, along with insights addressing specific challenges and opportunities. Guide to identifying, assessing, mitigating ESG risks, and building a roadmap strengthening both operational and financial performance are also covered. You will, also, develop an understanding of globally recognised ESG risk frameworks, aligning your strategies with international standards.
Additionally, this course covers funding opportunities, from Government Grants to Sustainable Finance Loan products, empowering you take actionable steps towards effective ESG outcomes. This funding guidance will find financial resources for supporting your business’s Sustainability initiatives. By the end of the course, you will confidently manage ESG risks, develop actionable plans to address key challenges, and access the right financial solutions to drive meaningful, lasting change to your business.
