FURTHER STUDIES

You can gain direct entry into relevant BSc (Hons) programmes in Shipping Management, Maritime Business and Logistics conducted by local universities and reputable tertiary institutions from Australia, United Kingdom and the United States. You may also pursue business programmes at NUS, NTU, SMU or SIT.

With our strong collaboration with foreign universities, you may gain direct entry into a number of maritime programmes offered by overseas universities such as into the third-year of a four-year programme at Chung-Ang University in South Korea or the State University of New York (SUNY) Maritime College in the United States for graduates who obtain more than 3.0 GPA. You may also gain direct entry into the third final year maritime degree programme offered by the University of Plymouth (United Kingdom), Solent University, Southampton (United Kingdom), or the University of Tasmania (Australia).

For the Diploma in Maritime Business (DMB) course, examples of work experience/job roles include but are not limited to the following:

As junior executives in the maritime industry such as in ship management, ship owning, ship broking, bunker suppliers, marine insurance, shipping agency, ship chandling, logistics, supply chain management, freight forwarding, maritime authorities, classification societies, ports and terminal operations.
